Submission Guidelines

Blue Forge Gaming is currently only accepting pitches for original Adventure Decks running the 1.0 core mechanic. Adventure Decks are role-playing game/trading card game hybrids that run on the patented Stacked Gaming core mechanics. Research Adventure Decks running the 1.0 core mechanic by watching the how-to-play video for these decks and playing at least one of these games: The Dead of Winter, The Curse of Granny Bael, or Johnny Apocalypse and the Battle with the Beast-Men.

When you're ready to pitch your idea for an original deck, use the contact form. Tell us which Adventure Decks you've played and explain your theme and premise. Perhaps just as importantly, tell us why you feel you're a good fit for Blue Forge Gaming. If you are also an artist and want to illustrate your deck as well as write it, let us know in your initial contact. Illustrating your own deck does not prioritize your submission.

We receive ten to twenty-five gaming submissions each year and publish four. We give priority to submissions from authors and filmmakers who want to create games based in their original universes--especially if those artisans are already published by Blue Forge Press or produced by Blue Forge Films. However, this is not required.

Whether or not we decide to publish your game, you'll receive a confirmation within two working days and you'll receive our answer within thirty days. If you don't hear from us, please check your spam folder before reaching out again.

Last but not least, make sure to have researched Blue Forge Group and all four of our divisions prior to submission so you have a good grasp of our overall mission.
